">On July 4, a Study in Ukraine exhibition of Ukrainian universities was held at the Hyatt Regency Baku hotel, organized by the "Ukrainian State Center for International Education (USCIE)" together with the "Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan". More than 20 leading higher education institutions of Ukraine took part in the event, including Sumy State University.

">Participants were welcomed by Dr. Mykola Trofymenko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (via video address), Emir Rustamov, Advisor to the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, and Olena Shapovalova, Director of the USCIE. In their remarks, they emphasized the importance of developing Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in higher education, academic mobility, and expanding opportunities for young people.

">On the Azerbaijani side, the event was attended by Zulfiya Shafiyeva, Head of the International Projects Division of the International Cooperation Department at the State Agency for Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Guests also included representatives of the diplomatic corps, the university community, and educational institutions.

">Sumy State University was presented by Tetyana Mayboroda, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office. She introduced visitors to the university's wide range of English- and Ukrainian-language educational programs in medicine, information technology, management, business, and engineering, and spoke about the advantages of studying at SumDU and the opportunities it offers international students.

">"It is extremely important for us to ensure the presence of Ukrainian universities on the international educational stage, despite the war, and to take part in such events. We are spreading the word about the quality education that Ukraine and Sumy State University continue to provide despite all the challenges, and we remain a reliable educational destination for students. We are also interested in expanding the horizons of cooperation with Azerbaijan and creating new opportunities for young people seeking quality European education in Ukraine," said Tetyana Mayboroda.

">It is worth noting that the Azerbaijani student community ranks second by number among all international students studying in Ukraine. This reflects a high level of trust in the Ukrainian higher education system and its international recognition.

">SumDU's participation in the exhibition in Baku helped expand the university's international academic contacts, raise the visibility of its educational programs among Azerbaijani youth, and strengthen the position of Ukrainian higher education on the international stage.
