According to the results of the competition, the Head of the Regional Security Research Center of Sumy State University Mykola Nazarov became an expert of the programme committee "Safe societies - protection of freedom and security of Europe and its citizens".

The information on the decisions of the Commission for Additional Selection of Representatives and Experts to the Committees Responsible for Monitoring the Implementation of the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation "Horizon-2020" is posted on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

In total, 26 applications were submitted to 6 programme committees. All documents were checked for compliance with the Competition Procedure.

The decision on the selection of experts was made by the Commission on the basis of proposals submitted by the candidates on the priorities of activities of an official expert and considering the experience of participation in international and European projects.

Horizon-2020 experts can be involved, in particular, in the independent expert evaluation of project proposals, monitoring the implementation of current projects, evaluation of research and innovation programmes.
