The visit was initiated on the invitation of Polish Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies. The event called “New Possibilities. Old Threats” took place in the city of Rzeszow at the G2A Arena The Exhibition & Congress Centre of Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

Forum “Europe-Ukraine” served as a meeting point of politicians, government officials, leaders of business entities, educators, experts and journalists from EU countries, Ukraine and the USA. Debates and thematic discussions of the Forum-2020 were concentrated on the key issues of modernization and development of Ukraine’s economic potential, local governance, effective use of natural resources, regions potential, possibilities of cooperation with partners from Poland and other European countries. Also, a lot of security issues were raised at the Forum within a context of Ukraine’s membership of the European space.

Students visited discussion panels, joined the debates and took part in the official meeting with the Chairman of the Program Council of the Economic Forum in the city of Krynica-Zdroj Zygmunt Berdychowski and communicated with the Deputy Dean of the Social Sciences College of Rzeszow University Bogdan Verzbinski.

SumDU delegation consisted of students of Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management: Roman Dubovych, Kateryna Zahoruiko, Anastasiia Kursenko, Vladyslav Tymoshchenko, Oleksandra Sheremet; students of Academic and Research Institute of Business Technologies “UAB”: Anna Diatlenko, Olha Yeremenko, Anastasiia Kirilieva, Oksana Musiienko, Viktoriia Radko, Yuliia Samotoi, Liliia Skrynka, Mariia Solodukha, Andrii Uvarov, Maksym Chalyk accompanied by the trainee teacher from the Department of Management Anastasiia Niesheva.
