On November 13th -14th SumDU gathered true fans of annual talent-show, which is traditionally conducted among first-year students on the International Students Day eve. The online broadcasting has been organized during 2 days for those, who wish to keep an eye on these creative activities virtually.
“The Golden Integral” – is a good possibility for first-year students to show their vocal, choreographic, dramatic and musical skills, to feel the spirit of creative competition. This year its 2 days of furious drive, lively dances, impressive vocals and passionate dramatic art.
On the first day, the representatives of Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management, Academic and Research Institute of Law, Medical Institute and Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies demonstrated their skills; on the second day, the audience watched the first-year students’ performance of Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies, Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications and Academic and Research Institute of Business Technologies “UAB”.
The participants disclosed actual problems of modern life, proposed their own vision on solution of acute social problems, demonstrated the youth views on friendship, love, right and wrong.
The harmonic combination of classical and modern musical flows, colorful costumes, the diversity of dramatic genres and styles, creative scenarios, successful video formation of performances, quality technical support of creative competitions are significant bonuses for teams and organizers. Every team performance was followed by fervent applause and cheers from the audience.
Finally, the respected jury is on the stage. The audience and teams are waiting for the announcement of the winner. Incredible intrigue – and the audience bursts with applause. Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology won “The Golden Integral” for the third time in seventeen years of the show’s existence. The victory of 0,14 points – it is the gap between the triumphant and runners-up of the contest – the Medical Institute. Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications took the third place. By the way, this year jury Andrii Liubchenko said that everybody who was on the stage is the winner.
The generous gifts from the partners and sponsors reinforced the taste of victory.
Students from the Medical Institute got six awards - the biggest number of awards in nominations. The jury rated dance (ensemble), recitation (the poem), vocal-academic singing (solo), stem and the final act of medical students and their directing with the highest points.
The team of Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology became the best in 5 nominations: modern dance (ensemble), ballroom dance (little forms), vocal singing (ensemble), playing musical instruments (solo), playing musical instruments (ensemble).
The jury awarded Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications in four nominations: free choreography (ensemble), vocal singing (little forms), art song (solo), stand-up. Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management got three creative trophies: authors’ composition (poem), authors’ song (little forms), stage play.
The first-year students of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies became the best in pop singing (solo) and original genre.
Academic and Research Institute of Business Technologies “UAB” was the best in authors’ composition (monologue) and Academic and Research Institute of Law won the first place in pantomime.
