SumDU widens partner relations with educational institutions of PRC

On August 11^th the representative of the Shanxi Agricultural University (People’s Republic of China) Van JUNZHONG visited Sumy State University.

He met with the First Vice-Rector of SumDU Serhiy Lyeonov, representatives of structural divisions.

The visit was preceded by negotiations regarding Chinese students at SumDU. According to the authorized representative of the Chinese party, 120 students of Shanxi Agricultural University would like to undergo master's programmes at Sumy State University in different majors. First of all, the most popular are the majors of economic and management direction. Medicine, Physical Education, and Engineering are also of interest.

The participants of the meeting discussed the specific issues regarding the opportunities and format of studying of Chinese students in our university, including admission conditions, considering the quarantine restrictions for international trips in China.

Serhiy Lyeonov assured the representative of the Chinese party, that SumDU will try its best to facilitate the realization of the joint project with the partner university.

During the visit, Van JUNZHONG got acquainted with the learning capacities and material and technical base of Sumy State University.

The positive attitude of the meeting, constructive dialogues allow speaking about the perspective development of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation in the field of education.
