SumDU strengthens cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine in the areas of international grant activities and academic mobility

On October 21st, Vira TERNOVSKA, an academic specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, who takes care of grant and scholarship support from American funds for project activities and mobility for various categories of participants visited SumDU.

Featuring the International Affairs Department, Vira TERNOVSKA conducted training on the preparation of grant applications for American funds sponsorship. The training participants, taking part or planning to intensify project activities at the university, had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work on project documentation and budgeting in practice on the basis of SumDU.

Also during her visit, Ms TERNOVSKA gave a presentation on education and internship programmes in the United States for SumDU students. During the seminars, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the participation conditions in the programmes and get practical advice on the successful completion of documents, namely writing an essay for the Global UGRAD exchange programme. Vira TERNOVSKA emphasized that SumDU students actively participate annually in the competition and become scholarship recipients of the programme due to the high level of training and quality set of documents.
