On November 3, the program of the first wave of the Business Academy was finished, organized, and conducted on the basis of the regional accelerator GCIP for innovations, technologies, and startups in the Sumy region, within the UNIDO GCIP project "Global innovation program of clean technologies for small and medium enterprises in Ukraine".

9 startup teams successfully passed 3 training sessions, where they received the necessary knowledge and support from experts, professional mentors, prepared presentation materials that provide the potential consumers and investors with an understanding of new products and services.

During the final presentation, each team had 10 minutes to speak, and then the jury - 10 minutes for questions and comments. Each project was evaluated according to ten criteria: business description; identification of consumers; product/technology validation; market entry tactics/sales model; competition, finance, and financing; legal issues; team, consistency, presentation.

As a result, the winner was the startup project "Autonomous robot" - the production of autonomous robots based on artificial intelligence, for transporting goods in the warehouse, bypassing obstacles, and integrating into the automation WMS system. https://sites.google.com/cs.sumdu.edu.ua/trans-robots/index. The second place and the nomination "Prospects for tourism development" was awarded to the team "OK TOWN" - an optimized marketplace and an innovative tool for the development of tourist infrastructure, even in very small towns. "OK TOWN" targets all regional centers and even small towns. There is a lot of historical heritage, a large number of excursions, there is an opportunity to go camping, other types of recreation. In this way, the team wants to activate local tourism throughout Ukraine. The WEB version of the project has been adapted for a mobile application, and now the developers are working on creating a mobile application using artificial intelligence and a geolocation system so that the customer can easily customize their request and travel easily.

Promising technologies in construction - the project "3D printing. Revolution in construction" - a breakthrough printer that can build 60% cheaper and 10 times faster than brick, with the same quality, strength, thermal insulation conditions, and, at the same time, creating 50% fewer emissions than from production necessary bricks.

Promising technologies for Energy Independence - the project "Ecological heat" (Eco heating) - a device for heating residential and non-residential premises using a cavitation heat generator with savings of 30%. Water purification in swimming pools without the use of chemicals.

It is worth noting that the project aimed at finding a convenient and effective way to overcome the biggest problem of our time - "New treatment of coronavirus disease COVID-19" (Kyiv) - a pharmaceutical composition in the treatment of COVID-19. Nasal inhalation solution used with a pocket nebulizer.
