On the 23rd of March in Foggia (Italy), there was a meeting, the participants of which were the member of the Council of young scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the head of the Academic Community of students, postgraduates, and young scientists of Medical Institute at Sumy State University Vladyslav SIKORA, and the Minister of Universities and Research of Italy Maria Cristina MES.
The issue of supporting students, scientists, and teachers of Ukraine during the war was discussed.
Ms. Maria Christina MES visited the University of Foggia to discuss general research development and funding issues. During the discussion, the Minister and the Honorable Rector, Professor LIMONE paid special attention to the events in Ukraine and expressed their indisputable support for the student and scientific-academic community. It is known that the Italian government has already allocated one million euros to help Ukrainian universities.
After the briefing, Ms. Maria Christina MES spoke with young scientists representing Ukraine at the University of Foggia about the possibilities of forming educational and research projects within the cooperation in the field of education and science of Italy and Ukraine, as well as their funding.
