At Sumy State University a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to Bachelors of Mass Media speciality was held

On July 6, 50 graduates (the Department of Journalism and Philology of Sumy State University) of full-time, part-time, distance and parallel forms of education, 6 of them are with honors, received diplomas.

Olena SUSHKOVA, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications, congratulated the graduates. She wished the graduated Bachelors to preserve the student friendship that was born within the studying at Sumy State University, as well as to realize themselves in the profession.

By the way, many of this year's graduating journalists already have experience of practical work in the mass media and demonstrated the acquired professional qualities in wartime conditions.

"Despite all the challenges that life suggests you, you should believe in yourself, be sure of your own abilities, and be a winner! And we have no doubt that Ukraine will win!", Natalia BRATUSHKA (the head of the "Vidicon" TV channel) said in her congratulatory speech to the graduates and awarded Bachelor's diplomas to journalists and advertisers.

Teachers, yesterday's students, and guests gathered in a warm, relaxed atmosphere - they recalled interesting moments from student life, exchanged impressions, laughed, and cried. And although these four years were not easy, because the coronavirus epidemic and the war touched the students of this year's graduates, anyway all of them had something to remember. The students found a nice word for each of the teachers, thanked them for their knowledge, practical experience, wise advice, and patience.

Sumy State University congratulates graduated media professionals on an important event, wishes them a happy journey in their professional and personal lives, interesting projects, pleasant experiences... and looks forward to meeting them as Master's students.
