On 14 September 2022, Sumy State University hosted an online event: initiation into students. For this year, first-year students meet a great challenge – wartime study. However, everybody defends to keep our country Free, Strong and Independent!
Vasyl KARPUSHA (SumDU rector) congratulated students on the achievement.
It is impossible to imagine this event without performances of the SumDU Culture and Art Center. That inspired students with new atmosphere of future life. Everybody chooses what he likes at SumDU: research, study, sport, art.
During the event broadcast from the SumDU Media Center, the song “We are from Ukraine” was a very symbolic performance. Students from all the world joined this moment. This is persistence and belief in victory that unites youth of all SumDU faculties and institutes.
Freshmen were congratulated by students and graduates on battlefields. Our soldiers stressed the education importance and wished joyful, peaceful and easy study. Each person fights at his own front, and SumDU education as a weapon brings the victory more closely too.
The highest event spot was declaring the freshmen’s oath. It was done by the most diligent SumDU students: Yehor Yehorov (Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies), Maksym Oleksiuk (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies), Viktoriia Hordiienko (Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications), Anastasiia Budionna (Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management), Vitalina Hnidash (Academic and Research Institute of Law), Kseniia Lokhonia (Medical Institute).
SumDU congratulates freshmen sincerely! We hope everybody’s dreams will come true. Therefore, research and invent, fall and rise, get up and restart! Be strong and free because you are SumDU students!
