Step for open communications in education and research

The Ukrainian Academic Alliance importance and its Cooperation Memorandum as of 10 May 2023 were commented by Vasyl KARPUSHA (SumDU rector).

“SumDU is a member of 25 international organizations (including the International and European Academic Associations). However, there are few academic unions in Ukraine. Generally, Ukrainian institutions compete via entrant rankings. It results in less effective skills of graduate success, especially in terms of post-war recovery. The Alliance founding invitation was an urgent change in cooperation principles among universities. For SumDU, it is a great honor to participate in this sphere. The university exchange openness and world community desire to recover Ukraine demands for proper local and state activities,” – noted Vasyl KARPUSHA.
