SumDU has achieved a significant success in the international SCImago Institutions Rankings 2025. It took the first place among Ukrainian institutions and rose to the 114th position among Eastern European institutions.

In this edition, 61 domestic institutions were ranked. It is a record number in the history.

The SCImago Institutions Rankings is an authoritative international classification of academic and research institutions. It has been evaluating academic performance in three key areas since 2009: research effectiveness, innovation, social impact.

This ranking is global and is based on Scopus data and information from other sources.

The SumDU success is recognition of the systematic work of its team. It confirms the university’s high position in the scientific and educational environment.
