By the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 1231 of October 6th, 2020, four students of SumDU and its separate structural subdivisions were awarded personal scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

On September 14th, Sumy State University held an unforgettable event, which symbolizes the beginning of a new stage of freshmen’s lives - "Students initiation ceremony". This year, considering the quarantine restrictions, the festival was held in a video format, but no less creative and spectacular, with many surprises and gifts.
