As well as the educational process is resuming, sports and health institutions of Sumy State University continue working.
Representatives of the academic and educational community from Ukraine and other countries provide charitable assistance to Sumy State University in terms of the military aggression of the Russian Federation.
On the 23rd of March in Foggia (Italy), there was a meeting, the participants of which were the member of the Council of young scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the head of the Academic Community of students, postgraduates, and young scientists of Medical Institute at Sumy State University Vladyslav SIKORA, and the Minister of Universities and Research of Italy Maria Cristina MES.
Volodymyr VERKHOTUROV, the graduate of the speciality “Banking industry” of Sumy State University, died heroically defending Ukraine.
On the 1st of April, at Sumy State University, after the forced vacation, the educational process was resumed in the spring semester of the 2021/22 academic year.
On the 29th of March, the webinar "Non-traumatic communication with students regarding war issues" was held for teachers and staff of Sumy State University.
The Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI) in Vienna, headed by Professor Dr. Norbert MAUSER, provided support to Ukrainian scientists in mathematics, physics, and related natural sciences who stay in Ukraine by paying them short-term scholarships (“WPI Scholarship for Ukrainian researchers").
