SumDU representatives participated in the conference “Socially Oriented Education for Ukrainian Recovery”. It took place within the ServU project at the Ukrainian Catholic University (28-30 November 2023).
On the University of Washington website, an article was published about Dipra JHA (a professor, expert in hospitality and tourism). He is a SumDU honorary doctor.
On 20-21 November 2023, a SumDU delegation of Vasyl KARPUSHA, Konstiantyn KYRYCHENKO and Denys SMOLENNIKOV took part in the IX LUMEN International Conference on University Management Leaders (Serock, Poland).
During the 16th National General Assembly of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association, held in Lviv on 3-5 November 2023, a decision was made to create a new associated local representative office of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association at Sumy State University.

On 17 November, on the International Students’ Day, Sumy State University announced the most active students according to the results of the 2022-2023 academic year.
The SumDU basketball team became the bronze medalist of the 3x3 World Basketball Championship among universities. The competition took place in the city of Doha (Qatar). 12 male and female teams competed.
On 10 November, an extended online meeting of representatives from Sumy State University and University of Liverpool took place within Twinning Initiative.
The honorary title “Honorable Doctorate of Sumy State University was awarded to Professor Dipra JHA, Washington State University (USA), by the decision of the Academic Council of Sumy State University at its meeting on 9 November. Professor Dipra is Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion – Inclusive Pedagogy, Scholarly Associate Professor & Fulbright specialist.
On 5 November 2023, the International Summer School “University Library and Digital Transformation” was organized by Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznań, Poland). Sumy State University was represented at this event by Olha KRYTSKA (the library director).
