SumDU held an online webinar “Experience of Completing the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Projects”. The university demonstrated results of the projects “EU Medical Education: Challenges for Ukraine” (599989-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) and “Integration of EU Values into Ukraine” (600115-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE).

On 14 December 2022, there was an online meeting between Serhii LIEONOV (first vice-rector), SumDU international departments and administration of Tashkent State Dental Institute.

The SumDU team of the project “AICE – With Academic Integrity to EU Values: Step by Step to Common Europe” presented their course “Academic Integrity in European Education and Research: A Multidimensional Immersive Model”.

The Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies (TeSET) negotiated with representatives of the Slovak Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Sports.

The Chunichi Shimbun newspaper published an interview with Vitalii IVANOV. He is a professor, the head of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Machines and Tools. Also, he works as the vice dean of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies.

To ensure the high-quality education, the Education Resilience Units were created at the university for students and lecturers. Founders are the SumDU Students’ Administration as well as the Institute of Business, Economics and Management.

On 20-24 November 2022, Mykola NAZAROV (head of the SumDU Regional Security Research Center, senior lecturer, the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Sociocultural Technologies) participated in resilience workshops. They took place in Tallinn.

Illia DIAHOVCHENKO (associate professor, Department of Electric Power Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies) became a Danubius Young Scientist Award 2022 laureate. The event was supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research and the Institute for Danube Region and Central Europe.

In November 2022, SumDU is finishing the EU Erasmus+ 4-year project “Innovative Rehabilitation Training: New Master’s Curriculums in Ukraine” (REHAB: 598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

At Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), the final international conference took place. It was held within the EU Erasmus+ project “Journalism Education for Ukrainian Democracy: Standards, Integrity and Competence” (598964-EPP-1-2018-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
