On 12 January 2022, the SumDU dormitory held a students’ meeting with administrative units. The topic was “Power Saving: Smart Use”.

"SumDU signed a treaty with the ATDI LLC (a Warsaw subsidiary of the French company) to use the HTZ Communications software."

SumDU members have an opportunity to realize innovative practices of open education and science. It is based on the EU project “OSEE – Open Science and Education in Europe: Success Stories for Ukrainian Academia”. The latter is co-funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture EU Executive Agency within the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ direction.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science announced results of the young research contest in 2023.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science approved selection results for scientifical, scientifical-technical and infrastructural projects. They will be funded via the EU Horizon 2020 program.

On 27 January 2022, SumDU signed a cooperation treaty with Lincoln University College (a Malaysian higher education institution).

In UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2022, SumDU rose by 50 positions. Now, the university is within top 350 resilient institutions.

On 17 December 2022, the Open Door Day took place in the Congress Center. Here, school leavers had an opportunity to get acquainted with SumDU, specialties and the 2023 admission rules.

The Golden Integral Contest jury determined winners among first-academic-year students. The leader was the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies.
