According to the December 2024 results of the Transparent Web Ranking of Repositories, the SumDU Repository ranked first among Ukrainian institutional repositories by the number of Google Scholar publications (71,700).
On 17 December 2024, a teleconference was held at Sumy State University to connect the European Organization for Nuclear Research (Geneva, Switzerland) with the Sumy Territorial Branch of the Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences. The event was continuation of teleconferences and webinars that have already brought together Kherson, Kharkiv, Odesa, Kyiv, Mariupol, Bucha, Irpin, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro.
