In November 2022, SumDU is finishing the EU Erasmus+ 4-year project “Innovative Rehabilitation Training: New Master’s Curriculums in Ukraine” (REHAB: 598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
At Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), the final international conference took place. It was held within the EU Erasmus+ project “Journalism Education for Ukrainian Democracy: Standards, Integrity and Competence” (598964-EPP-1-2018-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
As a part-time professor of the SumDU Department of Nanoelectronics and Surface Modification, Yurii Hohotsi was awarded a Clarivate-2022 title “The Highly-Cited Researcher” in two categories: chemistry and material science.

SumDU lecturers volunteer for the WHO AT 10 project “Quick Access to Auxiliary Technologies for Ukrainian Home Migrants”. They mentor distributors of rehabilitation means.
On 9 November 2022, Vasyl KARPUSHA (the SumDU rector) and Anatolii VASYLIEV (the Academic Council head) held the press conference “The SumDU Educational Front: Reputation among World and Ukrainian Universities”.
In September 2022, the SumDU Academic Council conferred an honorary title on Michal HATALA (a professor from Technical University of Košice, Slovak Republic). It was based on a significant scientist’s contribution to international cooperation in research and education.
As the head of the Regional Security Research Center at Sumy State University, Mykola NAZAROV participated in the New Era of Insecurity Conference (Helsinki, Finland, 26-28 October 2022). He is a senior lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies.
On 27 October 2022, there was the International Forum on Virtual Teaching and Learning: Harnessing Hyflex and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) for Developing Global Citizens.
