On 5 June 2024, the SumDU Congress Center hosted a presentation of the documentary film “Going Beyond: The Story of Evacuation of Foreign Students from Sumy (March 2022)”.

On 3 June 2024, Dmytro LUBINETS (Ombudsman of Ukraine) and Munir MAMMADZADEH (a UNICEF Representative in Ukraine) made a working visit to Sumy Oblast.

Organized by the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications, the conference brought together scholars from around the world. The event was held in a mixed format on 1 June 2024. It was attended by representatives of 12 countries and 20 cities of Ukraine.

Within the ServU project “Service Learning in Higher Education for Ukraine’s Recovery” under the Erasmus+ program, a SumDU members took part in the training “Service-Learning Pedagogy for Community Development during Wartime and Recovery”.

The Ukrainian Catholic University hosted a presentation of the research methodology to determine needs of local communities within the project “Strengthening the Capacity of Communities to Recover through Piloting Their Interaction with Universities”.

A Brazilian periodical published an interview with Serhii Kyrylenko (Chief Researcher at the Center for Biomedical Research at the SumDU Medical Institute).

On 19-25 April 2024, Istanbul (Turkey) hosted a training within the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Empowering Youth Workers to Counter Radicalization”. It was funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program (2022-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000090238).

On 23 April 2024, a trilateral online meeting was held between Sumy State University, Jiamusi University (the Heilongjiang Province) and the representative office of Sumy State University in China.

On 16 April 2024, Sumy State University took part in an international online exhibition. It was organized by one of the most famous educational consulting companies – Begin Group (Germany).

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has presented a report on monitoring the employment of higher education graduates who have completed their studies under state or regional orders.
