Sofiia PINCHUK (a student of Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies at SumDU) gave an interview for the EU NEIGHBOURS east project. Here, she told us about the Erasmus+ study, her international experience and Ukrainian wartime life.
On 30 September 2022, the World Cup of Martial Arts was finished in Samsun (a Turkish city). SumDU sportsmen were awarded four golden prizes and took the third place among 35 Ukrainian universities.
Oleksandr Pohrebniak (professor, head of the Department of Nanoelectronics and Surface Modification) was conferred the title “Ukrainian Honored Researcher”.

On 29 September 2022, a webinar was held between Sumy State University and University of Liverpool. British colleagues shared their media and marketing practices.
According to Order of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science №832 as of 19.09.2022, students will be granted presidential scholarships. It is valid for the first 2022/2023 term.
On 14 September 2022, Sumy State University hosted an online event: initiation into students. For this year, first-year students meet a great challenge – wartime study. However, everybody defends to keep our country Free, Strong and Independent!
On the first World Cup Day among wrestlers in Samsun (Turkey), SumDU students were awarded with two medals.
On 11-16 September 2022, 2022 IEEE 12th International Conference «Nanomaterials: Applications & Properties» took place in Kraków (Poland).
On 20 September 2022, SumDU hosted an online conference “Students’ Sport as a Way of Stable Society Development”. It was organized by SumDU and Sumy Department of Ukrainian Students’ Sport Community.
