On 21-27 April 2023, there was a meeting of members from seven Ukrainian universities, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and the Alliance “Unite!”. It was held by Wrocław University of Science and Technology within the project “Green Standards for Ukrainian Universities”.

The Informatics curriculum of the 122 Computer Sciences specialty has successfully finished the Kharkiv IT Сluster certification. Thus, it complies with the modern IT market demand.

On 24 April 2023, there was a meeting of the SumDU Supervisory Board. It was headed by Vasyl KREMEN (president of the Ukrainian National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences).

On 22 April 2023, Sumy State University hosted the Open Door Day. Among visitors, there were school pupils, college students and parents. They gathered offline in the main campus.

On 12 April 2023, SumDU volunteers cleaned areas behind dormitories near the Chekh Lake. Volunteers removed a local dump. 12 waste bags were removed.

The Czech periodical “ProUkraїnu” published the story “Wartime Universities: Ukrainian Students in the Czech Republic”. The author was Zlatoslava BABYCH (Faculty of Electronics and Informational Technologies, SumDU).

Now, SumDU belongs to the European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI). The corresponding decision was made by its administration.

On 6 April 2023, the SumDU Congress Center gathered foreign students that returned to Sumy after the evacuation. Here, the SumDU International Event “Life Stories on Campus” was organized.

SumDU and Swiss institutions (Collegium Helveticum; Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute; University of Zurich) are going to check mental health of Ukrainians.

On 4 April 2023, David QUIN (professor from Institute of Art Design and Technologies, Dublin, Ireland) started his visit to SumDU.
